Rikke Hagen found her inspiration and color palette for a new tableware in the surroundings of Tibirke Bakker and her local landscape around Tisvildeleje in Denmark.
The tableware of Tibirke Bakker is characterized in stringency and simplicity from the designer's expression of form and devotion for the traditions of Danish studio ceramics.
Rikke Hagen has given the tableware a tactile, rustic and sensual expression inspired by Tibirke Bakker’s open moraine slopes with wild heather, rose bushes, alpine cedars, pines, junipers, thujas and dusty grasses. Resting in front of the woods of Tisvilde Hegn, the shades and colors of the slopes, the woods and the sea joins together in the fine dark line at the horizon.
